A vintage-only prestige cuvée rosé Champagne produced from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (2009 vintage: 56% Pinot Noir, 44% Chardonnay); includes exactly 13% still red Pinot Noir wine added to base assemblage; sourced exclusively from Grand Crus and the historic Hautvillers Premier Cru estate; aged on lees for minimum 11-12 years (longer than white vintage which requires 8 years); dosage 5-6 grams per liter (Extra Brut to low Brut); 12.5% ABV. Flavor profile characterized by orange zest, raspberry, pomegranate, oriental tobacco, dried flowers, gingerbread, Timut pepper, and chalky minerality.
