Old Monk XXX Rum Very Old Vatted

Old Monk is a legendary dark blended rum from Mohan Meakin, launched on 19 December 1954. It is distilled from premium sugarcane molasses and aged for a minimum of 7 years in charred oak barrels, using natural spring water from the Himalayan foothills. It is bottled at 42.8% ABV (50% ABV for military issues) and available in 180ml, 375ml, 750ml, 1-litre, and 2-litre sizes. The flavour profile features molasses, maple, caramel, tobacco leaf, oak, vanilla fudge, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, dried stone fruits, treacle, and cinnamon spice.
